About

Why LiNC?

Euro LINC exists to fulfill the Great Commission, equip Christians for discipleship, and strengthen the Church.

To Fulfill The Great Commission

In Matthew 28:18-20, Jesus commands us to make disciples of all nations. As we obey, Christ makes us Gospel laborers, sent out to share Jesus with our local and global communities. LiNC provides the concentrated time and community needed to rapidly spread the gospel. Fully dedicating ourselves to making disciples is effective in reaching the lost and transformative in the lives of everyone who joins.

To Equip Christians to make Fruitful Disciples

LiNC is all about putting learning into action. During the project, you’ll be equipped to teach curious skeptics how to read the Bible, baptize new believers, train Christians to share their faith, and start small groups. LiNC teaches you how to follow Jesus and fish for men.

Strengthen churches & Start New Works

While LiNC is a short-term project, its partnership with local churches creates long-term results. At each location, LiNC seeks to bless the church by providing extra gospel workers. As you are sent out, you’ll find people of peace, those who receive the Gospel with joy and become long-term members of the local church. LiNC participants will also have the chance to scout out locations for potential church plants where God is at work.

Who are we?

Euro LiNC is a summer program of Great Commission Europe association of churches. For more information on GCE, our beliefs, and our churches, please visit: www.gceweb.org

Why Malmo?

Malmo is the third largest city in Sweden and is home to over 700,000 people in the Malmo area municipality. Due to the influx of refugees in the last 20 years, Malmo is now home to people from 171 different nationalities. This is a reflection of Sweden in general, as Sweden’s hospitality has attracted many people from unreached people groups. In fact, there are 21 ethnic groups that are classified as unreached currently living in Sweden. To put it into numbers, that is 408,000 people or 3.9% of Sweden’s population. In perspective to the christian population, this means that almost twice as many people in Sweden belong to an unreached ethnic group than belong to a free church!
